Rock Band 2

I was finally able to play my game!

It all started on Friday with me going to the pawn shop and buying a PS2. Well, I didn't bother to hook it up that night and mess with it so I didn't know that it had something wrong with it. Monday I got Rock Band 2 from a guy off of CraigsList. That night I tried to play it, but it wouldn't work. It was very temperamental when it came to regular PS games as well. Tuesday I tried to take it back to the pawn shop, but was told that items like that only have one day to be returned.

That night I was working at BMI and I looked to see if a GameStop was nearby. There was one practically around the corner so I called them to see if they had any PS2s. I asked them to put a Slim on hold and got off the phone with them. When I got off of work I went to the store only to find that while I was on the phone with the guy, the other guy had sold the system. They found another system not too far away so I went to the Meyerland store. When I got there I paid for the system and asked the chick to test it out. It's a good thing we did because it didn't work. She credited me then found another system at another store and called and asked them to test it before making me drive out there. The dude at the Pearland Town Center store tested it and so I drove over there. When I got there I had him test my game to make sure it did work and it did so I paid for it and took it home. When I got home I was able to play at the most, 20 minutes, before it froze up. When I looked at the disc the system and scratched a ring around the edge of it about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch wide. I was not pleased.

Wednesday I took the system and disc to the Baybrook store and they told me they didn't have a system in stock but the Silverlakes one did, so once again I drove out to Pearland. The chick there was awesome. She hooked me up with a used system and pointed out that the one I had gotten was refurbished, which I hadn't noticed. She also did something she wasn't supposed to do... she took my messed up game and gave me a brand new one. Unfortunately, the drama hasn't ended yet. She sold me a used memory card that isn't working lol. So I guess I'll be heading back to GameStop yet again.
